President Soccer Operations
Jason Davis brings a vast amount of coaching experience to the Wolves-Hawks East. Jason has coached at and directed some of Michigan's finest clubs, including Wolves-Hawks, Vardar, and the MetroStars.
In the summer of 2009, Jason was selected as a Staff Coach with the U15 Boys National Team. He has an extensive background of coaching at the highest levels, including being a State and Regional ODP Head Coach, working in the US Soccer Development Academy, and instructing Coaches Education courses.
Prior to coaching, Jason played college soccer at the University of Akron (www.gozips.com), and also played professionally with the Pittsburgh Stingers, Detroit Neon, and Detroit Safari.
Director of Player and Club Development
John is well regarded within the Michigan soccer community for his work with both Vardar and Metrostars/Gators. His high level experience includes being a State ODP Head Coach, as well as holding various other ODP positions. John was a valuable member of Oakland University as Men's Assistant Coach, capturing two Summit League titles and an NCAA appearance during his three seasons on staff.
Prior to coaching, John played college soccer at Siena Heights University (1987-1990) and professionally with the Detroit Neon (1994-1995)
Joe Carolan joined the club after coaching stints throughout Michigan and Southern California. Prior to joining the Michigan Wolves-Hawks East, Joe coached some of the most successful players and teams at Rochester Soccer Club during his ten year term at the club. Joe is well renowned and respected as a coach in the younger age groups, but also has guided older teams to state and regional success.
Director of Coaching
Paul is the Michigan Wolves-Hawks East Director of Coaching. He is a graduate of Columbia-Hichman High School where he played from 1986 - 1989. Paul played club soccer for the Columbia Pride and Missouri Select Team. He played at Columbia College from 1989-1991.
Coach & Club GK Coach
Rob offers the Michigan Wolves-Hawks East over 15 years of club soccer and goalkeeping experience. Rob has worked at the highest levels in the state with ODP goalkeepers and with the beginning levels as the director/developer of the RYSL Micro Soccer Program (age 5). Rob was a four year varsity and All-State Player for Grosse Pointe South and played collegiately at Madonna University where he graduated with Highest Honors in all 3 of his B.A.s.
Coach & Director
Larry Pryg has coached in Macomb County for 13 years. He has coached both Boys and Girls teams including U10 through U18 age groups. Larry has also been involved with the Eisenhower High School Girls Soccer Program. He has served as a Board member for North Macomb Soccer Club and is currently one of the Michigan Wolves-Hawks Directors.
Ty Hassan offers Michigan Wolves-Hawks East valued experience at all age groups. He has coached both boys and girls teams for RSC, Metrostars, Gators, Vardar, and Brighton SC.
Josh Hickey is currently the Rochester Adams Boys Varsity Head Coach and Head coach of the JV Girls program. He took over the Adams High School soccer program in 2008. With a Masters in Teacher Leadership from Oakland University, Josh has been teaching at Rochester Adams High School since 2010.
Kristi Tomczyk has a wide range of coaching and playing experience she brings to the club. In addition to coaching with the Michigan Wolves/Hawks East, she has coached in several local high school programs and Oakland University Soccer Camps.
Prior to coaching, Kristi was a member of the 2004 National Championship Team Michigan Hawks. She played NCAA Division I soccer at Oakland University and was voted Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2006 and 2007. She also played for Michigan’s Olympic Development Team and one season at Grand Valley State University.
James offers both club and high school coaching experience. He coached several seasons for Vardar, and is the current Romeo High School Girls Varsity Coach.
As a youth player, James played for the Wolves and also played for four years at Oakland University. James graduated from Oakland with a degree in Elementary Education.
